Service
All Year 12 students are expected to complete 30 hours of Service over the course of the year.
This Service involves undertaking a voluntary role either in or out of school. The purpose of Service is to give you responsibility for supporting others, to develop communication skills, to forge a strong sense of community, and to give younger students some visible role models around school.
It also develops your time management skills, as you learn to balance your different commitments and build communication and leadership skills that are valued by employers and universities.
Some of the opportunities available include:
- Supporting and mentoring in main school lessons within a chosen subject
