Student Leadership Team – Head Students and Deputies
This team is chosen from the student body and takes on a number of leadership roles, including public speaking and representing the views of students from the Senate to the Senior Leadership Team.

Applications are now open for our Student Ambassador programme. This is an opportunity for you to lead on a key aspect of Sixth Form life such as Culture Sustainability, House and Charity Events, Diversity and Inclusion and Extra Curricular. The full job description can be found below.
Job Description
The role of Sixth Form Student Ambassador is one of significant responsibility. Student Ambassadors work in partnership with the Sixth Form Team and teaching staff, supporting and enhancing the education of students in the school and assisting with administration and supervision. Student Ambassadors are role models for younger students and as such, are expected to demonstrate maturity, show good judgement, be reliable and act responsibly at all times.

All Student Ambassadors will be expected to:
- Support events, both internal and external, in the Sixth Form and the main school throughout the year
- Support with tours of the school for visitors e.g. prospective students / parents, governors, trustees, employers.
- Attend regular Student Ambassador meetings with Head Students
Furthermore, you will be expected to apply for one of the roles below to lead in a particular aspect of Sixth Form life.
Charities Ambassadors will: |
· Work closely with the staff Charities Lead · Lead and manage Charities Reps in main school · Support with organising Charities Events across all year groups · Support at Charities Events where necessary |
Sustainability Ambassadors will: |
· Work closely with the staff Sustainability Lead · Attend the sustainability club on a Wednesday week A to oversee projects in school · Promote active travel to school/car sharing where possible, particularly for car free · Support food bank collections once a half term · Create innovative strategies to encourage all staff and students to be more |
Diversity and Inclusion Ambassadors will:

· Work closely with the staff Diversity Team · Support and/or lead Diversity Societies in main school · Support with organising Diversity Events throughout the year · Engage in 1:1 mentoring conversations with main school students as part of the · Support at Diversity events where necessary |
House Captains will: |
· Work closely with the staff House Leaders to lead the House system in Sixth Form · Lead and manage House Reps in main school · Support with organising House Events across all year groups · Support at House Competitions where necessary |
Student Ambassadors for Extra-curricular will: |
· Be actively involved in extra-curricular activities in Faculties such as PE and Sport, · Support staff delivering these clubs and lead small groups of students |
Student Ambassadors for Sixth Form Culture will: |
· Work with The Sixth Form Leadership Team to organise and lead social events · Oversee the organisation of Societies across the Sixth Form and leading the |
Year Council Representatives
Each form group selects two students to represent their views in Year Council meetings. These regular meetings provide an opportunity for you to feedback suggestions for further improvements within the Sixth Form.
