BBC Verify on Tour is back with not one but TWO events for you and your group to join virtually!

On Friday 14th November and Wednesday 3rd December we have talks and masterclasses designed to spark creativity and build skills in areas such as journalism, audio, TV production and social media.

From learning about BBC apprenticeships, to exclusive “behind the scenes” talks on their favourite shows, and even some special VIP guests, these livestreams are a great way for young people to learn more about the creative industry.

Keep scrolling to read more about each event. Then all you have to do is register your details and we'll then send you the relevant livestream link. You can join all the sessions or any at a time convenient for you. You can also share this link with your group if they want to join directly.

Both livestreams are taking place via a webinar and we'll be using live captions. Questions can be put through using the Q&A box as cameras and microphones will be turned off.

Legal Cheek in partnership with The University of Law

Flagship dual-date virtual event for Year 12 and 13 students (sixth formers) considering the solicitor apprenticeship route, in partnership with 24 leading law firms and The University of Law.

Register to attend. Just one registration is needed for both events.

It kicks off on Thursday 27 November 2025 (4:30pm to 6pm) with a solicitor apprenticeship application masterclass delivered by 12 leading law firms’ early careers teams covering the following topics: ‘Researching firms and building commercial awareness’; ‘Making a winning application’; and ‘Looking ahead to assessment centres’. There is then a virtual law fair with the firms.

Part Two is on Tuesday 13 January 2026 (4:30pm to 6pm), where current solicitor apprentices at 12 leading law firms will share what to expect on a solicitor apprenticeship, in a series of short workshops covering the following topics: ‘Perception v reality’, ‘City living and social life’ and ‘Looking ahead to qualification’. There is then a virtual law fair with the firms.

The Sixth Formers Guide to Degree Apprenticeships

The new academic year is underway, and with UCAS deadlines approaching and apprenticeship opportunities opening up, this is a pivotal time for Year 13 students. It's also a great time for Year 12 students to start thinking about their future choices.

The Sixth Formers' Guide to Degree Apprenticeships is a free, 100-page digital guide, produced in association with the Department for Education, The Careers & Enterprise Company, and Future Leaders UK, that aims to introduce students to degree apprenticeships and the employers that offer them.
