This is a great opportunity if you're interested in a career in banking, finance and digital technology to have the chance to come into the Lloyds Banking Group head offices to take part in workshops, network with their team and gain a greater understanding to what a career in the industry could look like. 

You'll have the chance to meet and engage with professionals and apprentices who have first-hand experience in various roles at the bank, take part in workshops, career development sessions as well as lots of networking.

Do you have a passion for Science? Ever wondered how medicines are developed?

In 2025, Labcorp are providing the opportunity to learn more about the exciting world of careers in Science and Drug Development by offering on site work experience placements for students in Year 12 and Year 13 in two different areas:

Science in Industry: an overview of the drug development process and practical insight into how science in used in business. This programme will be offered on two occasions in 2025 (30 Jun – 04 July 2025 & 14 July – 18 July 2025). There will be six places available per occasion. Students should indicate their preferred date on the application form.

Histology:  a specialized programme recommended for students with a particular interest in the microanatomy of biological tissues. Students will have the opportunity to get hands on practical experience in all stages of the Histology Process. There will be two placements offered in this area in 2025 (one placement 30 Jun – 04 July 2025 and one placement 14 July – 18 July 2025). Students should indicate their preferred dates on the application form.

We are particularly keen to receive applications for the work experience placements from students who are interested in joining our Apprenticeship programme on completion of their studies in year 13.
