Application for Buses from September 2024

This form is for parents wishing to express an interest in using one of the HGS operated bus routes planned from September 2024.

It does not cover buses operated by NYCC.

Completion of the form is a required step, but does not in itself guarantee a place on the bus. Buses may be oversubscribed.

Routes are plotted from the expression of interest received over the summer term, and are then updated accordingly on these Bus Route pages before the end of the academic year, showing the planned route for the start of the school year in September.

It may not be possible to offer all services if demand is not forthcoming.

The following pricing is based on 2023-24 and may be subject to change - £747.50 for the Pateley Bridge service; £730 for Boroughbridge/Ripon; £850 for Leeds/Wetherby.

I understand that due to the subsidised nature of the service, the school requires parents to commit to payment for the whole academic year unless there are exceptional circumstances such as the student moving house or leaving the school. Students passing their driving test is NOT deemed to be an exceptional circumstance (required)
